Within The Ruins have begun recording their as-yet untitled new album which they plan to have out this summer. Band guitarist Joe Cocchi is handling the production and engineering duties in his own studio, with vocals to be tracked at Dreadcore Studios. Jason Suecof (Trivium, All That Remains) will be take on the mixing duties for the outing.
Cocchi said of the effort:
“This is the most time we have ever had to focus on writing. There are a ton of new aspects to this material. We are always aiming to create the most interesting and refreshing music that we are capable of, and I think we have finally been able to accomplish that with this album.”
