Heavy metal cultists CASTLE will release their third album, “Under Siege,” in North America via Prosthetic Records on May 20. The eight-track release was recorded at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, Calif. with producer Billy Anderson (Sleep, Neurosis), with whom they previously collaborated on their acclaimed Juno-nominated 2012 release “Blacklands.”
A music video video for the album’s first single “Temple of The Lost” premiered earlier this morning at The A.V. Club, who lauded it as “a monument to metal”.
Featuring cover artwork by Denis Farkas Kostromitin (Behemoth) as shown above, “Under Siege” consists of eight darkened and sophisticated tracks of riff-driven classic metal. CASTLE have also announced that following their European tour which features dates alongside Conan and Graviators, the group will embark on a month-long U.S. headlining tour.
